Max-Immune HP is
designed
to nourish, strengthen
and activate the immune system by combining
nutrients and vitamin supplements which are well
know to enhance the innate immune system.
At the foundation of
the Max-Immune HP formula are the supplements Beta
Glucan, Graviola, Arabinogalactan and AHCC.
Each one is demonstrated in scientific research to
strengthen, support and modulate the Immune Response
in numerous and diverse ways.
ß-Glucan
(Beta-Glucan 1,3-D)
- Beta Glucan is a polysaccharides that is
primarily cultured extract from the Baker's Yeast
cell wall. Beta Glucans stimulate the white blood
cells (Macrophages) into action. This microphage
activity causes a surge of additional immune events
to take place which improves the immune systems
defenses and stimulates the production of immune
cells. When combined with vitamin C, Beta Glucan is
even more effective as the activated macrophage
relies heavily on vitamin C to carry out its
important functions.
Several materials in nature contain glucans, such as
certain mushrooms and oats, but only Baker's yeast
contains the 1,3/1,6 linkage.
Graviola
- Graviola is a broadleaf flowering evergreen tree
native to the Caribbean, Central and South America.
Graviola contains a wide variety of bioactive
phytonutrients (nutrients derived from a plant),
which work naturally to enhance immune function at
the cellular and systemic levels.
Arabinogalactan
- Arabinogalactans is a member of the carbohydrate
family and a natural polysaccharide which are found
in a variety of plants but are more abundant in the
Larix genus, primarily Larix occidentalis (Western
Larch). Larch arabinogalactan is approved by
the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a
source of dietary fiber, but also has potential
therapeutic benefits as an immune stimulating agent
and cancer protocol adjunct. Arabinogalactans
are long, densely branched polysaccharide that
typically exhibit an anti-inflammatory,
anti-complement, antiallergy effect, while also
stimulating natural killer (NK) cell cytotoxicity
and reticuloendothelial cells.
AHCC
(Active Hexose
Correlated Compound)
- AHCC is a monosaccharide produced from the
mycelium of a shiitake hybrid grown in rice bran
extract. It is considered a "superfood" which
nourishes the body's immunity. Japanese doctors have
successfully used AHCC to treat cancer, autoimmune
disease and many other debilitating illnesses.
Red
Raspberry Juice Extract
-
The berries and leaves
are rich in vitamin C, folate, iron, and potassium;
all of which help build the blood by carrying iron
from stores in the liver, spleen, and bone marrow to
needy tissues, the reproductive organs in
particular. Raspberries contain antioxidants, which
are compounds or groups of compounds that neutralize
unstable molecules in humans. National independent
research suggests that consumption of fruits
containing these compounds may slow the aging
process in both the body and the brain.
Curcumin
- Curcumin is known for its anti-tumor, antioxidant,
anti-amyloid and anti-inflammatory properties.
Curcumin acts as a free radical scavenger and
antioxidant, inhibiting oxidative DNA damage. Its
anticancer effects stem from its ability to induce
termination in cancer cells without cytotoxic
effects on healthy cells.
Quercetin
- Quercetin is a potent antioxidant with significant
anti-inflammatory activity as well as a natural
anti-histamine. Especially rich sources of quercetin
include apples, red onions, cranberries, red wine,
green tea and St. John's Wort.
Cat's claw (Una
do Gato) - Cat's Claw is a tropical vine
that grows in rainforest and jungle areas in South
America and Asia. This vine gets its name from the
small thorns at the base of the leaves, which looks
like a cat's claw. The active substances in Cat's
Claw are alkaloids, tannins and several other
phyto-chemicals. Some of the alkaloids have been
proven to boost the immune system. The Immuno-stimulant
properties help the body fight off infections and
protect against degenerative diseases.
Essiac Tea
Complex - Essiac helps to promote and
maintain a healthy immune system function. Burdock
promotes and supports healthy cellular development
and formation. Slippery Elm contains large amounts
of tannins and mucilage's which are believed to help
dissolve mucus deposits in tissue, glands and nerve
channels. Sheep Sorrel promotes digestive health and
helps to promote tissue integrity and health in the
digestive system. This rhubarb promotes overall
health and well-being, intestinal flora balance, and
healthy circulation.
Garlic
- Garlic supports the immune system by increasing
natural killer cells.
